About Green Drives

Green Drives are a perfect way of continuing the green roof theme across your drive way, helping you create a truly green environment in your garden. Green Drives provide a grass surface where cars can drive and park, even in wet weather. Green drives are free draining, easy to cut and provide a much more appealing environment for wildlife than a tarmaced driveway could ever do!

Our green drives are created using an ingenious sturdy honeycomb structure within the topsoil layer to provide support to vehicles, top soil and grassy top layer alike. Once in place and fully grown, your green drive can be cut with a lawn mower just as ordinary grass can, the honey combe ensures excellent drainage properties are retained.

Creating a Green Drive

Our Green Drive Tiles are sturdy honeycomb structures which come as 500 x 550 tiles.  4 Tiles create 1m2 when attached.

Two Green Drive Tiles can be neatly pushed together. (NB all tiles are dark green but we have used white here to make the demonstration clearer).

Green Drive Tile is filled with topsoil and grass is grown in the top soil.
