Biodiverse Roof Pack

Properties. We will supply a mixture of UK plants, an 80mm deep substrate, a root proof water retaining drainage layer and a number of logs to allow you to create an environmentally friendly and biodiverse roof (biodiversity green roof) with the minimum of effort.

Our biodiverse roof plant pack will contain 20 plants per meter squared (including herbs, perennials, sedums and grasses) along with native wildflower seeds which will be specific to the location of the roof. If however, you have an ecologist who has specified the plants that should be used we will endeavor to supply those plants. The plants provided are not plugs and have all been grown outdoors in Mid Wales, ensuring they are well acclimatized for the UK.

To create the biodiversity roof, the substrate should be laid fairly unevenly with an average depth of 80mm, and the plants planted randomly according to the different depths of growing medium on the roof. The logs we supply should be incorporate into the roof to encourage vital local insect life crucial for birds and pollination.

The biodiverse roof can be laid on top of a ready waterproofed flat or gently sloping roof to create an environmentally friendly, bio diverse roof which will maximise the insect and bird life around your building.

Specification. The Biodiverse roof pack is provided by the squared metre. Work out how many meter squared you need to cover and order this quantity. The minimum order is 10 meters squared.
