Where Did Sedum Supply Start?
Sedum Supply Ltd are a company based in Shropshire. We specialise in the supply of a range of sedum and wildflower products for use on green roofs, garden landscaping projects and in a wide variety of difficult to reach locations.
Sedum Supply was founded in 2007 by current owner Darren Lawler. A roofing contractor by trade, Darren has over 33 years’ experience in the business. Due to his extensive background knowledge Sedum Supply can offer an unrivalled service within the industry.
His knowledge has enabled Sedum Supply to develop several green roofing systems for use in different scenarios, making it easier than ever to create environmentally friendly living roofs.
We provide products for a wide variety of commercial and residential roofing and landscaping projects. There is a continuing steady increase in people discovering the charms and environmental benefits of green roofs.
To meet this demand, we now supply easy to install DIY packs on this website. These are easy to purchase and install a green roof system yourself on a garden shed, garages and extensions.
A green roof or living roof is when the roof of a building is partially or completely covered with plants, vegetation and growing medium. The Green Roof System is a build-up of layers which create the sustainable green roof.
This consists of a fully grown blanket of either sedum, grass or Wildflower, plant specific engineered growing medium layer and a drainage system complete with all necessary fleeces pre bonded.
